Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, event-driven data architectures on AWS. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building data pipelines with PySpark and AWS Glue, and experience leading engineering teams to deliver high-performance data solutions. This role requires strong technical leadership, client collaboration, and a deep understanding of big data processing in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect & Build event-driven data flow systems on AWS to support large-scale data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Develop & Optimize data processing pipelines using PySpark on AWS Glue to streamline big data workflows.
• Collaborate with Clients to gather requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technical designs.
• Implement Best Practices for data governance, monitoring, testing, and performance tuning.
• Stay Updated with the latest AWS and big data technologies to continuously improve architecture and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, RDS, Athena, etc.).
• Proficiency in PySpark, Python, and SQL for large-scale data processing.
• Proven experience designing event-driven data architectures.
• Excellent communication, and client-facing skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
